  • Able Disabled Advocacy Inc.
    ADA works closely with employers, schools, and the public sector to help people with disabilities achieve independence and become self-supporting. For more information call 1619-231-5990 or visit www.abledisabledadvocacy.org.
  • The Access Center

  • Adult Protective Services, Inc.
    Provides programs such as Adult Day Healthcare, Senior Aides, Mental Health case Management, and Emergency Shelter call (619) 283-5731 for more information.
  • Aging & Independent Services
    AIS provides services to older adults, people with disabilities and their family members, in order to promote healthy and vital living, and publicize positive contributions made by older adults and persons with disabilities.   • The Burn Institute
    Free smoke detectors for any senior who does not have one, installed by their volunteers. Call 1-858-541-2277 or visit www.burninstitute.org.
  • California Telephone Access Program
    A statewide program of the California Public Utilities Commission which provides free specialized phone for individuals who have difficulty hearing, seeing, moving, remembering, or speaking.   • Campesinos Unidos
    Providers of free weatherization of windows/doors (possibly including attic insulation);
    furnace repair/replacement; window replacement and minor roof repairs. Serves San Diego County from approximately Market Street and points north. Income limits and some target areas. Call (800) 371-3771 for details.
  • City of San Diego Emergency Water and Sewer Repair
    24 Hour hotline, to report water and sewer emergencies call (619) 515-3525.
  • City of San Diego Graffiti Hotline
    For information, removal and reporting, as well as a paint and materials
    exchange bank. Call (619) 525-8522.
  • City of San Diego Housing Commission
    Offers deferred, low interest home renovation loans for low income home owners residing in the City of San Diego County. Call (619) 578-7521 for details.
  • Community HousingWorks
    Provider of low-interest, deferred home improvement loans and serving all of San Diego County. Call (619) 282-6647 or visit www.communityhousingworks.org for more information.
  • I Love A Clean San Diego
    ILACSD provides 24-hour recycling and household hazardous waste disposal information through its Recycling and Household Hazardous Waste Hotline (1-800-237-BLUE). They also maintain other programs to keep San Diego beautiful. Call (619) 291-0103 or visit www.ilacsd.org for more information.
  • JFS Fix-It Service
    Provides free minor home safety repairs and modifications for seniors such as installation of wireless doorbells, safety grab bars, hand rails, and smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.   • Legal Aid Society of San Diego
    Legal Aid is available to low income individuals & disadvantaged communities for a variety of legal problems, including consumer, family disputes, welfare and health benefits, immigration and poverty law issues such as landlord/tenant disputes, disability support and family benefits payments.   • MAAC Project

  • SDG&E Energy Team

  • Safe Homes Project – SD & Imperial Counties Labor Council
    Provides Security Doors and Lighting to qualified applicants. Some income limits and target areas. Call (619) 584-5836 for details.
  • San Diego County Low Flush Toilet Program
    Provides vouchers for $75 per unit to purchase replacement low-flush toilets and $125 vouchers for low water usage front loading washing machines. Call (800) 986-4538 to apply. Serving all customers within San Diego County
